About the event
Darrel Higham is one of the UK’s most respected rock ’n’ roll and rockabilly guitarists. Born in Bedford in 1970 and inspired by Elvis Presley and Eddie Cochran, he began playing in his early teens and quickly forged an international reputation — touring and recording in the USA in 1992 with Cochran’s original backing band, The Kelly Four, releasing his debut solo album Mobile Corrosion in 1995, and performing in the West End production Elvis: The Musical. A producer and studio owner (Embassy Studio, Hampshire), Higham has worked with an extraordinary list of artists including Slim Jim Phantom, Imelda May, Jeff Beck, Robert Plant, Jools Holland, Shakin’ Stevens, Bono and Paul McCartney, and is endorsed by Gretsch, Peavey and TV Jones.
Onstage with The Enforcers, he’s joined by long-time bassist Adam Miles (with the band since the early 2000s, playing upright and bass guitar) and drummer Tony Hillebrandt, who joined in 2023 after years…
