Mama D has been teaching people to dance for over 17 years. Come and join the friendliest dance classes in South Wales, learn a new skill and enjoy fabulous rock n roll music.
About
Mama D
Affectionately known as Mama D (which stands for Dragon by the way), Lyndsey Hill is a qualified dance instructor and has been teaching for over 17 years.
​
Beginning her partner dance journey with Modern Jive and Ceroc 20 years ago, she also discovered Rock n Roll with the amazing Pete The Feet in Bristol.
Always learning, Lyndsey has done many other partner dance styles including Argentine Tango, blues and Swing (Shag) classes...but her love of 50's music and 50's jive saw her bringing rock n roll classes to large Ceroc events, about five years ago.
​
Frustrated at the lack of local 50's jive classes post pandemic, Lyndsey decided to see if a class in her current home town of Barry would take off and Mama D's was born in November 2021.
​
Lyndsey's classes are highly structured, professional and full of fun! Assisted by her husband Andy, classes are vibrant and welcoming.
