An Afternoon with Julie Jive

Come and join us for an afternoon of rock n roll music, dancing and fabulous entertainment from glorious singer Julie Jive.

Julie Jive, who's based in Essex, travels all over the UK, performing at many prestigious events including Twinwood.

Julie will bring you swingin', rockin' and jivin' music from the 1950s, mainly American roots of rock n roll. Some popular well known tunes to the seldom heard (though none-the-less great).

From the likes of Ruth Brown, Wanda Jackson, Bill Haley, Janis Martin, Big Maybelle, Brenda Lee, Sam Butera, Big Joe Turner, Ray Charles, Chuck Berry.... the list goes on...

The afternoon will start with a taster Rock n Roll class from Mama D, followed by music, performances and plenty of free flowing tea, coffee and cake - all included in the price!

Oh and if you want something a little stronger, the bar will be open of course!

The event will be at the home of Mama D's Rock n Roll Class, Barry Island Sports and Social Club, which has a fabulous dance floor!

The cost is £10pp.
