An Afternoon with Rockin' The Joint

Back for 2026 and kicking off the Mama D Tea Dance season, come and join us for an afternoon of rock n roll music, dancing and fabulous entertainment from Rockin' The Joint!

Formed in 2001 in darkest Dorset, three-piece Rockin’ The Joint are one of the UK’s leading Rock’n’Roll groups.

In celebration of the classic music of the Rock’n’Roll years Rockin’the Joint feature songs from key artists such as Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Johnny Burnette, Chuck Berry and Eddie Cochran whilst also acknowledging those currently keeping the Rock’n’Roll flame alive including Brian Setzer, The Go-Getters and Darrel Higham.

The group's diverse live shows feature Rockabilly, Doo Wop, Ballads, Boppers and Swing classics that fall within the Rock’n’Roll genre.

The afternoon will start with a taster Rock n Roll class from Mama D, followed by RnR music from Mike Rose from South Wales RnR Club music, two performances from Rockin' The…
